Meet Coach Kristina
Kristina Biceroglu, was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. She graduated from Lathrop High School in 2008 and the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries with a Minor in Communication. Kristina has been a lifeguard in Fairbanks for 14 years and has taught child and adult lessons for 13 years.
Kristina swam competitively as a child and also as a young adult. She swam for Lathrop High School, now swims open water professionally and has competed in pool races and international open water swimming.
Kristina has worked and coached with Olympic athletes: Ian Crocker, Josh Davis, Garrett Gale-Weber, Colleen Lane- Cox, Whitney Hedgepeth, and Ricky Berens.
In her spare time, Kristina likes riding horses and traveling.

Ashley Longer
Ashley Longer, is Swim Fit Alaska's Office lady! She is from Kenai, Alaska and graduated UAA with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in 2013. Ashley will help you schedule your swimming lessons and get you through all the paperwork needed to start swimming! In her spare time Ashley enjoys walking on the beach, playing her Xbox, and singing karaoke!
Alex Youruk
Alex Youruk, was born in Younstown, Ohio. He moved to Alaska to attend the University of Fairbanks, Alaska. He graduated in 2013 with his Bachelors degree in Professional Communication. Alex has been a lifeguard and Water safety instructor for 10 years and enjoys teaching adults and children. Alex specializes in water comfort and mobility. In Alex's free time he likes to play soccer, play with his boxer (Bane), and traveling. Alex is a current- Lifeguard, B.L.S Instructor, Water Safety Instructor, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
